Confidentiality

We take the utmost care in preserving patient confidentiality. Since digitising our records about 10 years ago, our clinic utilises a software called Clinic Assist. The company managing the software - Assurance Technology Pte Ltd, is a leading healthcare information technology partners in the region and the largest clinic system provider in Singapore and has an excellent track record and credentialling. Our clinic records are not accessible by any other organisations in the public or private sector.

A Collaborative Effort

A common concern that patients have is that seeing a psychiatrist equates to having to take medication. Although psychiatrists have unique expertise in the prescription of psychotropic medication, Dr Chan and Dr Tay adopt a holistic, biopsychosocial approach to the assessment and treatment of any mental health conditions, including elements of individual psychotherapy and counselling.

Treating mental health conditions often requires a collaborative effort. Our clinic has extensive partnerships with other multidisciplinary teams, such as therapists from The Psychology Practice and Mindwhatmatters. Many of our patients are also concurrently seeing a therapist.
